Yoga has the power to benefit the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual wellbeing of women during the pregnancy journey; helping to forge a deep and intuitive connection with the natural rhythm of her breath, the inner wisdom of her body and her baby during pregnancy, through birth and into the time of post-natal recovery.

Relaxing, nourishing and gentle yoga classes open to all pregnant women, no prior experience of yoga is necessary. Classes will include strengthening and restorative yoga postures, guided breathing, meditation, visualisation and healing practices.
Each Pregnancy Yoga class is carefully tailored to the needs of the women attending in a friendly, warm and supportive way, the emphasis is on connecting to the inner wisdom of the body, moving and freeing the body from tension and constraint. Attending a course of classes is a wonderful opportunity to meet and connect with a local community of mothers-to-be. Classes are run as a course and booking is essential. The benefits of class and beyond – Yoga postures, breathing practices, meditation techniques and specialist guided relaxations (including Yoga Nidra) help to; build strength and stability, relieve exhaustion and lift the spirit, find more comfort in the physical changes which pregnancy bring, promote calm and boost vitality, support emotional and spiritual adjustments, empower women and their families for birth and beyond, find optimal pelvic floor tone to prepare for birth and support postnatal healing.
Private sessions – if you would prefer a private 121 yoga session in the comfort of your home, contact Fen to have a chat and arrange a short consultation in person or over the phone. It is also possible to arrange private sessions for small groups of friends so long as one of the women has access to a large enough space at home or in her local area; a maximum size for a group would be 5-6.
Fen took the time to find out about me, my pregnancy and my daily life, from there she tailored my treatment to exactly what I needed. Fen taught me some yoga poses that I’ve been using since, perfect for helping the dreaded restless legs and general well being.
Seasonal self-care mini retreats
Seasonally mini self-care retreats inspired by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Five Element system; a system that can be seen as 5 vibrations arising from the Tao to support our physical, emotional and spiritual like. These elemental themed retreats are open to all women who are either trying for a baby, or who are pregnant – no prior experience of yoga is necessary.
Mini retreats are a beautiful way to come together with a group of women to share nourishing yoga postures, guided breathing, meditation, Yoga Nidra, Aromatherapy, guided Shiatsu, Self-Massage and Acupressure techniques to support overall health and wellbeing during this transformational time in a woman’s life.
